Rob Francis founded the Canadian Leadership Company after two decades leading people where mistakes had real consequences. As a Naval Warfare Officer in the Royal Canadian Navy, Rob led teams in high-risk, high-uncertainty environments, including operational deployments where clarity, discipline, and trust were not leadership theories but operational necessities. After leaving the military, he saw a growing gap between how leadership is taught and how it is actually tested. CLC was created to close that gap. Drawing directly from military command principles and real operational pressure, CLC develops leaders through immersive, consequence-based experiences that reveal judgment, character, and decision-making under stress. The result is not motivational leadership, but leaders who remain calm, accountable, and effective when conditions are uncertain and the stakes are high.
